I’m a software developer and entrepreneur who spends his working days consulting on, building and tinkering with all kinds of software. Or, as my kids put it: “Dad fiddles with computers for a living.”
My main focus is Microsoft technologies and application development: Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure and .NET/C#, alongside TypeScript, React and Swift. A growing share of the work today is agentic AI coding. Code gets written together with AI agents, and my role is that of the architect: steering the agents, reviewing their work and making sure the result is of high quality. This site was built that way too.

- Mobali Solutions Oy: Microsoft consulting (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Copilot) and custom software development for the cloud and mobile.
- Oivallus Labs Oy: software for education, such as ONNI, a student administration system for vocational education, and AI Anni, an AI maths teacher for Finnish upper secondary school.
I’ve been an entrepreneur and worked in various startups since 2002. Before that I worked at Wapit, Open Mobile Finland and a few other companies.
In my spare time I collect gadgets — there’s something for every occasion, Apple devices in particular. At home there’s a home automation setup that I write about here whenever I find the time.
